The Wheel of Fortune from the Gaian Tarot by Joanna Powell Colbert

A tribute to our lifes on Earth

The Wheel of Fortune from the Gaian Tarot by Joanna Powell Colbert

The second beautiful card from the Gaian Tarot that I show here.

We see the movement of the Earth, seasons changing, life growing. Here we learn the rules of this Earth. It's no longer the Emperor (the Builder in this deck) providing for our needs, it's something widder. The Wheel moves and we can not control it. We can understand it, we can accept what happens and use the opportunities.

Things come and things go. Sometimes we are so close to something or someone but it goes away. It is not a fault it's the movement that was not in our control. It's a lesson of humility and if we accept it then a new chance, the real moment of luke, will come.

Joanna Powell, the author, points out about this card:

«Outside the wheel of the solar year, the lunar month and the wheel of the zodiac, we see a circle of prayer beads. This rosary, or mala, is divided into six sets of nine (the magical number of three times three). As we say or sing repetitive prayers, counting beads as we go, we enter an altered state where anything is possible, magic happens, and butterflies — symbol of the soul — break free of the turning of the wheel.»

And so we have a way to transcend this wheel as we live in it.

Great things can happen...
